Parte delantera de sobre en color marrón. Dirección autógrafa en tinta azul: "Mr. Nat B. Eisenberg / ininteligible / 601 East 20 th Street / New York 10, / N.Y.". Membrete impreso en tinta negra en esquina superior izquierda: "Navy Department" tachado en tinta azul y nuevo membrete manuscrito con nuevo remitente desde Lynchburg. En esquina superior derecha: Dos matasellos estampados en tinta negra y dos sellos de correos en color naranja (uno de ellos sólo se conserva la mitad). Dos cuños borrosos en tinta morada: "Mast Class" a lo largo del sobre. Sobre dirigido a Nat B. Eisenberg. posiblemente en este sobre se incluyeron los autógrafos, o al menos alguno de ellos de los generales y almitantes americanos: William D. Leahy, L. K. Truscott, Jr., W. H. Simpson, R. L. Eichelberger, L. S. Hobbs, Raymond A. Spruance, y Henry Arnold.
