2 cartas mecanografiadas en tinta negra, una por las dos caras y otra sólo por una. Esta última con anotación manuscrita en negro desvaído. Cartas que le envía el comandante general de las SS Eugen Kolbenschlag a la familia Kratzer. La primera, dirigida a la familia, es un comunicado de condolencia informándoles del fallecimiento de su hijo Edouard Ostermann en el frente. La segunda se dirige al señor Kratzer comunicándole que un amigo ha sido tomado prisionero. Indica que dicha carta debe ser remitida a su vez a la señora Hoffmann.
