Keith Park responde a Robert Wright agradeciendo la carta del 8 de abril, en la que declara su sospecha, de que los argumentos a favor de Big Wings eran un escudo para librarse de Dowding y de él mismo, especialmente potenciado por Leigh Mallory. Asímismo le incluye un listado sobre servicios prestados en la fuerza aérea desde 1918 a 1940.
